Release Your Burdens

"This morning somewhere between your first step on the floor and your last step out the door, you grabbed some luggage. The bags you grabbed are not made of leather, they're made of burdens. A sack of discontent. A duffel bag of weariness. Set them down." - Max Lucado.

Are you not tired of carrying all this extra weight? It makes us all tired, all unhappy. We have become a nation of people who shuffle bags, shouldering burdens that we cannot handle. Life is nothing that we enjoy, it's something that we endure. Nobody has time ... we set down our bags for brief moments...just enough time to catch a glimpse of what we are missing, before we re-balance our loads and trudge through life.

So I say, let's set them down. We don't need to carry them. We need to learn how to forgive ourselves and move on. "To error is human" as they say, so why do we make ourselves feel so small? Many people do that to other people on a daily basis- why should we help them? Set them down I say. Celebrate life. Live it. Love it and Let go.
